Jim Does it really matter if they kill you and then take both the gun and ammo? I don't think caliber choices matters so much as how well you are organized. Ok the situation is (like in the book) an EMP goes off, fries everything electrical, cell phones, cars, lights we have nothing...now what. do you have the provisions to get past the immediate crazyness, what about the knowledge to get by in the long run?

I hear there is a gun show this weekend, I believe the 21st, in Roanoke, being new to the area I was wondering how the usual turnout is? what can I expect?

Hey guys new guy here I'm technically still a new york resident but go to school down here and live with my sister and brother in law when I'm not in school so I'm down here full time.
Any way I'm glad to be away from the crazy NY laws and cant wait to get involved on this forum
