Re: Facebook Add

I've never used Facebook before. How would that work?. Really? It's great. I've never been good at keeping in touch with people so it gives me a chance to pool them all together and maintain contact. You sign up for the account, which is free, and start adding people you know. You can search for cl...

Re: WHAT DID YOU SAY?

FORUM LADIES, bare with me on this one. :D OK, This started as a joke, and got more so. Went in GANDER Mt. the other day and was looking around when a sales girl ask, 'may I help you?' Well, maybe, I said, can you show me your HOO-AHHS?? Well she took me toward the back of the store and sure enough...

Re: Question about DMV

By windshield registration sticker do you mean county sticker? Some counties have done away with those and others are in the process of doing away with them. Just dawned on me the other day that mine had expired but I hadn't received the notice to get new stickers, turns out my county isn't using t...

Re: Firearm Unfriendly Businesses in Virginia

I wonder if the General Assembly will craft a law that says something to the effect of: "Any business that sells or provides a service to the general public shall not pass policies which infringe on the rights granted by the state." Something like this would mean that if a business who se...

:enlighten: I found this awesome PDF online at Handgunlaw.us. It answered a lot of my questions about carrying. The only thing is that it may not be up to date with block on carrying in national parks. I couldn't attach the PDF so here is the link for it. http://www.handgunlaw.us/ Click on VA on the...

Re: Firearm Unfriendly Businesses in Virginia

The Patriot Center in Virginia also does not allow the carry of ANY weapons on the premises. See the following link for their security policy. http://www.patriotcenter.com/about/security.shtml Patriot Center is on GMU property right? Doesn't school regulation really dictate the law on that business...

Re: Women Carrying a Concealed Weapon

I was wondering about the best way to carry a concealed gun being a girl and all. I don't usually wear loose clothing so I'm worried about never being able to effectively hide my gun. Thanks for any responses. I'd like to hear from guys and girls! :packin: I like to suggest the Desantis Stealth Pro...

Re: Women Carrying a Concealed Weapon

If they have a policy it usually cover firearms regardless of how you carry, the main difference will be if their "no firearms" policy is in some obscure manual that a customer would never read instead of being posted at the door where a customer would enter. I that case you'd get away wit...

Re: Women Carrying a Concealed Weapon

I always open carry on my own land and around the area, but when I have to go to town I prefer concealed, that way every one just see's this old guy walking around and I don't draw any attention. I think that's exactly how my husband feels about it. We touched on the open carry discussion yesterday...
