I've always used various S&W J frames. Though I do have a Bond Derringer in .45 Colt/.410 2.5" and an American Derringer Corporation 9mm. I don't consider them quite as useful. I don't trust very small autos, though I eventually had a Kel Tec P32 that worked well enough with FMJ for a time....
