Re: "Absolute Outdoors" gun unfriendly... gun store.

Well if someone goes all power trippy like Eddy did in his initial email, he did deserve a less than courteous response. Further, if Edwardo is speaking in an official capacity for VCDL, perhaps it is time to review that authorization, lest they find themselves in another embarrassing position. [ P...

Re: "Absolute Outdoors" gun unfriendly... gun store.

And where did he threaten physical violence? He simply told him he should be a man and come talk to him face to face. [/quote] Frankly, if you don't see the threat, or at least some idiot (the store owner) begging for a fight to assuage his justifiably fragile ego, in that statement, you're just ou...

Re: VA-ALERT: W&M to ban guns! VCDL meeting in Charlottesville.

Didn't VT have a very strict gun ban? I guess that worked so well that W&M wants to see if it works as well for them. Isn't Einstein credited (probably incorrectly) with saying that the definition of insanity is going the same thing over and over and expecting a different result? What level of i...

Gun Friendly (or unfriendly) restaurants in Lexington area

I'm going to be down in Lexington for a few days before and over the easter weekend. Can anyone with some experience in the restaurants down in that area give me recommendations for restaurants that are friendly to gun owners or, alternatively, alert me to any that are not?

Thanks.

New member from Pennsylvania

I presently live in Chester County, PA. We're starting to plan for retirement in a year or two and plan to return to Virginia where I lived through most of the 1970's while I was stationed at Quantico and later while I attended school. I'm retired from the Marine Corps (10 years of active duty and 1...
