Re: broken primer punch?!
#1. Are you sure your cases aren't Berdan primed? Lots of that ammo is. If it is, you can't decap it using a sizing die. You have to do it by hand with a special decapper that looks kinda like a bottle opener. RCBS makes one. #2. Yes, you can buy replacement decapping pins for most dies. A pack of 5...

Re: 40 S&W, what are you using?
I've been using Unique powder but am now looking for an alternative to it. It seems to be dirtier than factory loads and I'm having problems with my accuracy. Are you using the new and improved Unique or older stuff. The new is said to be cleaner and definitely is. I host up the last of my old and ...

Re: 40 S&W, what are you using?
I can't recommend any specific loads, but will recommend that you give Power Pistol powder a try. It meters very well and burns very clean. It is my new favorite powder. For an alternative to jacket bullets, take a look at Berry's plated bullets. For an even less expensive option, take a look at Mis...

Re: Short Term Storage
I agree. It sounds like you are over oiling. I tend to wipe on a good bit of oil on my blued guns when I case them or simply put them back in the safe. I do that to prevent rust from my fingerprints. That guns looks like it has a finish that is very rust resistant, though. I know my duty Glock's sli...

Re: Zion XRD Wallyworld
Most of the Walmarts and Dick's that I have been in lately have had no shortage of ammo. I expect that sooner or later we will see the prices fall a bit....I haven't bought a box of centerfire ammo in nearly 20 years since I reload. Reloading components are pretty easy to find now. I expect those pr...

Re: progressive press
I wonder why Midway has them on clearance....The price sure isn't a sale. You can get them from lots of other places for less. I bought mine from a local gun dealer for $389...I didn't think it was too bad of a deal considering when I bought mine, you got 1000 free premium bullets. I took mine in 18...
