Re: Richmond, Spring 2012, Meet-n-Greet
Sorry I dropped the ball on trying to get organized, had some family things and trying to organize the "cove" trip last weekend. Anyone want to try and shoot at Colonial in Richmond and then grab some wings at hooters down the road ?? I will try to monitor more closely but if I don't respo...

Re: The Cove Campground - Gore, VA
should be about 1.5 hours from NOVA to the cove. I suggest if you go on sunday, you should get up there around 9-10am just to be sure. Sometimes we have gone and haven't seen anybody all day and other times' it is elbow to elbow shooting.

yes that place, they are expensive but unlike some of the others you don't have to buy their ammo.

Re: Richmond, Spring 2012, Meet-n-Greet
I am in Mechanicsville. Maybe we could talk ProShooter into letting us their training range in Doswell and then dinner at the Bass Pro restaurant. You guys could all come up and attend our Defensive Handgun I class! :hysterical: Is this for guys only? Of course not, every(person) is invited,...

I am with Wells Fargo, I have asked about their weapons policy at both branches I go to. Nobody knows of a specific policy for or against them.

Re: Potomac Hospital
I work in a hospital in Richmond and they also USED to block the guest wi-fi and our secured server. Thankfully enough of us and visitors complained to the administration and they have finally lifted "most" restrictions. You can get onto most sites, except for a dedicated gun shop, like bu...

Perks of working the night shift. No real preferance on where we shoot but dinner might be another story.

Re: Richmond, Spring 2012, Meet-n-Greet
Ok, two votes for Shooting then Dinner ! I am good with that. We could go/meet at Black Creek Range in Hanover, however I can only bring two guests at a time. If we get a small group together, I might be able to ask the owner for some group time for VGOF, on one of the alternate ranges. The only dow...

Re: More injustice from cops
I agree with the others, the silence is deafening on the part of the Police Department. I don't know any of the town police but the most of the county deputies I have met have been pretty level-headed. I don't think it matters wether you are pro- or anti police, if the witness and facts are to be be...

Richmond, Spring 2012, Meet-n-Greet
Ok people I have seen chatter back and forth and on different occasions. Let's get a meet-n-greet going !!!! I don't know a lot of you so I don't know what everybody is in to ? Do you want to try to meet at a range type deal ? Would everyone like to meet at a restaurant and toss back a few while sho...
