Re: Sharpshooters (NOVA) Shoot and Greet - 15 Feb
Right, but if I'm reading he law correctly, Carrying a Glock 17, or 19 with a 19/15 round clip should be ok. (Since the law applies to pistols with 20+ round clips).

Re: Sharpshooters M&G SIGN UP - 15 Feb
Ya, I'll probably do the same Allingeneral... I don't think I have enough ammo for 3 hours anyways...
Didn't know ahead of time and I just used 150 yesterday... I'd rather not buy at the range, they charge $20/50 9mm (Standard Range Price).
Do you know if I need to RSVP for the lunch as well?

Re: Bought Brown Bear Ammo, but no where to shoot.
Ya but it's just the jacket not the core... It really shouldn't be much of a problem. My understanding is that they are usually more concerned with steel on steel sparks, and the fires they may cause. That said, the chances of that happening are incredibly small, more importantly, the small amount o...

Re: Bought Brown Bear Ammo, but no where to shoot.
K so there's a Case, Jacket, and Core. Case = Steel. Core = Lead (I believe) Jacket = Copper washed steel / bimetal. So it looks like copper on the outside, very very thin layer of copper, but the inside of that jacket is steel. The thickness of the copper layer is about the same as the thickness of...

Bought Brown Bear Ammo, but no where to shoot.
I just bought 500 rounds of Brown Bear 9mm ammunition online for a good price, I also just found out that my range "SharpShooters" does now allow the use of any ammunition that uses core/jacket. Brown Bear is a Bi-metal jacketed ammo, so while it's actually a lead core (which is good), it ...
