This is a huge vote. If all these members keep their vote the same Reid doesnt have the 60 votes he needs to bring the bill to the floor.

So this flimsy piece of paper is the final permit?

My friend in SC they give them a more durable plastic...similar to a Drivers license.

Just got my permit back in the mail and was surprised it was a flimsy piece of paper...do they send a more durable plastic one at a later date?

If not...is it ok to laminate, to preserve the life of the paper?

I am going to be applying for my permit in Alexandria...anything I should be aware of or any stories where I can learn from someone elses mistakes. I know the area I live is somewhat gun unfriendly.
