Anyone a member of Cavalier Rifle and Pistol Club?
Guys, I haven't had a chance to shoot my new rifles, and I really need a 100+ yard range to zero and shoot at. Is there anyone that would be willing to sponsor me? If I wanted to do a one time thing, do I still need a sponsor? Man, I really want to go shooting

Dont waste your time man. You cant educate every uneducated person (wish I could though...). Even if you educate him on our strict gun laws, he will still remain a dummy. True story bro

Re: Question about owning body armor in Va
I bought a Eagle Plate carrier in coyote brown, and it is awesome. The fit is great and all I need now is money for plates lol. I am 5'10, 160ish pounds, so I have a medium plate carrier (the size refers to the plate size, not the size of your chest). I believe Eagle also makes the plate carriers fo...

Question about owning body armor in Va
I just bought a plate carrier for the range, and man I totally am in love with this thing. But someone mentioned to me earlier that it might not be legal for civilians to own body armor, and to check with local laws and state regs. Can anybody else chime in on this topic?

Re: Silly question, but where CAN you legally carry...
I dont think anyone is going to honestly give you crap if you have a weapon locked in your car where no one but you know or can see it, while at the PO parking lot. You're right; no one is likely to find you out. That goes for many prohibited places. Deciding to disregard a law that you find inconv...

Re: Silly question, but where CAN you legally carry...
Then let's get to work... We just changed the laws for Federal Parks... I think USPS is next. It's ridiculous that someone who has been licensed to carry concealed in a state area, cannot carry in a Federal. I think the FEDERAL laws should bow to STATE laws! Only in cases of Interstate commerce, or...

Ah, all great info. But let me ask you, where do you usually carry concealed? Please feel free to give as many specific instances (Ex. to Walmart?). And even if you cant carry concealed into a place that serves alcohol, isnt it legal to open carry it in Va in such places?

Silly question, but where CAN you legally carry...
Sorry, I may just have a skewed outlook since I am a student. So since all I do is mostly go to school, I know I cannot concealed carry 90% of the places I go on a daily basis. However, I just wanted to ask to see where most people do carry concealed. I am also concerned that I will concealed carry ...

Re: Non-Va residents purchasing a gun
I guess I was "lying" about the cwl. At the time I was waiting for my cwl paper work to go through and was sure it would be in the mail, considering I had waited over 3 months and it still hadn't come in. Because of the Obama gun scare, it was taking almost 3 months to process paper work f...

But even if I were to buy a long gun, I dont know what second ID I could use to say I reside in Florida. Sigh. Looks like I am taking a trip to Florida soon lol.
