Re: Hiking with my CHP

very nice!
If I'm not working that weekend, I'd love to join. Spring time, before summer heat for tent-use would be ideal, yes.

Re: The public face of gun rights
Since the early 1900s, federal courts and most state courts had agreed that the Second Amendment protected only a collective right to bear arms, which, at the time the Constitution was framed, was considered integral to maintaining militias. huh? my reading of this http://www.amazon.com/Heller-Case...

Re: Hypocrites of Gun Control: Charlatans, Elitists and Convicts
i like that bumpersticker. 1) i had heard of the Fienstein thing - supposedly to visit her husband in the hospital - fine, good for her, but why bar others from the same protection? 2) schumer: i'm shocked. what a tool. 3) DC resident/million-mom-march felon-shooter, I had heard that. I think the wa...

from http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/122137 (IsraelNN.com) As Israel observed Holocaust Day, thousands of miles away, A Rumanian-born Holocaust survivor gave his life in another senseless murder - and apparently in an act of heroism. Among the 32 people killed by a lone gunman at Vi...

Re: The Open Carry Argument
i CC for my protection but mainly for my kid's protection. ironically enough, that's also why i don't OC. i can't argue with the OP's logic, but in Fairfax, the OC is so polarizing (we've had people ask at birthday parties we've hosted as they're dropping off their kids "you don't own any guns,...

More comfortable on a hot day. that's a visual :) i was IWB with my G19 and the family was driving around errand d...
