The purpose of the hunter's safety class is that it is one of the ways to demonstrate knowledge/proficiency so you can get the CHP. If you already have the CHP, you don't need the class. IANAL.

I have a hard time believing that story. I am surprised they published it given the lack of ability to confirm validity. Not saying it's not possible... just saying the family might be full of BS.
