Is it legal to buy ammo on-line and have it shipped to my home? I live within the city of Richmond. I have not asked at my local range and/or gun shop as I believe they would have a biased answer. They would rather I buy it from them, of course. I am interested in 45-70, and Match quality .308, .223...

Africaner, thanks for the info. +/- $200.00 for Blackcreek seems doable for me. I'll have to plan a trip up there to check it out. I'll also be checking out Cavalier gun club, although that seems to be lot more money. Both seem to be about the same distance/time from me, but in different directions....

Went to New American Arms, in Richmond. They were very helpful and understanding of my needs. I'll probably be using them for my transfers when the time comes. Only 15 minutes away from where I'll be moving to.
