Re: New to Virginia, Trying to obtain CCW
BTW I called the county clerks office and they said that they could not reach the number on the application. Which is odd because I have the same phone number. It had been sitting there for over a month waiting for pickup... oh well

Re: New to Virginia, Trying to obtain CCW
pro shooter is just pointing out the poor quality of video instruction vs live instructor who can answer all your questions or point you in the right direction. Haha I know, I saw that he is an instructor himself so I understand the frustration for him losing a lot of business to online courses. Th...

Re: New to Virginia, Trying to obtain CCW
So I applied for my permit on September 26, 2014. I still have not received any information on my application. the state site says it's a maximum of 45 days, does that include weekends? Didn't the video instructor address that question? :hysterical: No he didn't cover that, and he didn't have a shi...

Re: Informing Officer of Concealed Carry
My brother in law has permit. Last time he was pulled, the officer approached the window, greeted him by name, and asked him if he was carrying today. [ Post made via Mobile Device ] http://vagunforum.net/images/mobile.png Seriously? without knowing the officer? hmm. Interesting. so if they are goi...

Re: Informing Officer of Concealed Carry
Good info here, I have never seen this Massad video. He provides very clear and concise information on the topic. I always thought it would be best to inform the officer as well. It seems like the most popular way of doing so is handing them the CHP with your drivers license. Seems that the police a...

Informing Officer of Concealed Carry
I know the law states that you are not required, unless asked by the officer to inform them that you are carrying a concealed firearm. In the instance of a traffic stop, should I advise the police officer that I have a concealed handgun permit? Virginia law does not require you to notify the officer...

Re: New to Virginia, Trying to obtain CCW

None that I know of which is why I joined the RRPC. Unless you can befriend someone that has enough land to shoot o...
