This is my minty Colt Model 1861 Special Rifle Musket, and it shoots GRREAAAT!

I have a wonderful 2nd Model Brown Bess, original flint, made circa 1767 that I have shot--awesome weapon! I have also shot my 1st Model Paris LeMat, circa 1862, and my 1st Model Griswold and Gunnison percussion revolver, circa 1862.

That little guy is a BLAST to shoot!

A lot of federal funds are hanging in the balance on issues like this....

Are they doing "background checks" or just having a dealer fill in a 4473 for modern weapon transfers? Those records don't go anywhere until the FFL turns in their license--could be just a case of CYA with Federal law....

Any secrets to this bugger? Takes me about 15 attempts to get that little sucker in....
