Re: My new wheel gun!

Thanks for the Lyme update brother... I normally wear Deep Woods Off when the tick season is in... Ive never had any problems while use it.

I am also looking to start using permethrin on clothes & gear in addition to DWO.

So, is there any "cure" currently?

(Sorry for the thread hijak)

Re: Today's EDU system, tomorrow's slaves

So glad to have gotten my daughter out of publik schol and into home instruction. We have learning lessons in the field and the range too.. and tie it into personal responsibility, etc.. Her HS was full of drugs too, and was getting worse and worse. This was a middle class HS too, not a ghetto school.

Re: My new wheel gun!

Can never go wrong with three five seven!

Tell us more about your Lyme. Did you get it in VA? It may be better in its own thread but I am very interested, being that daughter and I are both outdoor enthusiast and is something of a concern.

Thanks

Re: The Tax System Explained in Beer

I would have been better entertained if the story used dark liqueur (bourbon whiskey) instead of beer... cause beer is for skirts and bourbon is for men.

ITAC HOLSTER, brief review

Ive had Blackhawk SERPA holsters for all my weapons (except FNX), and like them well enough.

When I got my Sig P250, I decided to go with the ITAC holster, and I honestly think its a much better product.

I like the moulding better, I like the release button better and it rides nicer.

That is al..

Very very nice... I too am a big steel fan. Mine are from Magnum Targets, AR500 has held up fine to hundreds of AK rounds, and they ship free.

Wish you were closer, Id like to litter brass there one day!

Re: Shooting SIG pistols

I got my P250C in .40, shoots like a dream, but you have to like the DAO. Ive done the Glock, XD & FNX scene, Ive never shot so well as I have with the P250! I think Im one of those odd operators that work a DAO better than SA or striker. Just yesterday, my 9MM FS conversion kit came in, WOW! Ho...

Marc, I wish you weren't 3+ hours away, Id love to call you on that offer!

Im interested in the 556R!

But to be honest, Ive yet to find a reason to part with the AKs, thinking of adding a TDL rail and rear peep (deleting the mid position rear leaf).

I still aint got no free poop! HA HA! J/K

The whole thing stinks.... Reminds me of mowing grass in the back yard, in the same place where my dog businesses, you smell it then you see it. And wonder how something like that can happen...

Re: The “Assault Weapon” Rebellion

I think it is an indicator, and a move in the positive direction, but not necessarily a sign that "people are getting fed up", more like *some* people are getting fed up.

Im not being argumentative, Im glad to have seen it happen, Im just playing devil's advocate and making an observation.

Re: Laws on shooting on private property!

Typically from what Ive seen, cities will not permit, counties typically do... however check with your county for verification (phone or person). Long story short, we live in Roanoke County, just behind us is a field, where there is a singular house... Old German Baptist (AFAIK) live there, and prim...

I dont know anything about the Boa rigs, but Ive got several Wouxun radios that I am more than satisfied with. Daughter and I stayed a little over 45 min I guess, spent a few bux and looked around... talked to a few. I was just glad to see the event! I bet next year's will be bigger! The word will b...
