Re: snakes

I have a Taurus Judge and it works wonders. I've yet to shoot a snake with it, prefer to let them be, but if they're poisonous and around the house/barn, they'll get dealt with.

Re: Kokesh Armed March on DC - FRAUD?

I'd hate to see what would happen if this march occurred. Obama plant or not, they'd probably fire upon the crowd if someone armed passed gas. I believe they'd be that trigger happy and just waiting to cause an event like that to become violent and blame the marchers. I like the idea of an open carr...

Re: YOUR TRUNK! YOUR TRUNK! THAT KEEPS ALL YA' JUNK!

Where is "safe" these days? If they know its there and they want it, they can get it.

The only "safe" place is when you are sitting on the hood and armed yourself and guarding your "stuff"...even then, you might get hit by a meteor, so what's the use?

Prices for Ammunition (.223)

What is a fair price these days to sell ammunition for (specifically .223) w/o being considered a price gouger? I'm going to put up some .223 PMC Bronze up for sale in a the next day or so and I want to be fair, but not naive when it comes to selling it. I'd hate to sell it and then see someone else...

Re: Staying in a Hotel with Guns

Good point on using trigger locks...anything I can do above and beyond to satisfy a peace officer's need is a good thing. Don't give them additional need to question the storage and things should be good. All good point's...thanks...anything that makes the old grey matter work helps me make sure tha...

Re: Staying in a Hotel with Guns

Good point about the security of the handguns during the trip. By the way...I'm hauling a total of 4 handguns (.32, 9mm, .45, .45) and a few thousand rounds of ammunition since the movers would not take ammunition. I lean on the side of paranoid and will be keeping them in my direct possession as mu...

Re: Staying in a Hotel with Guns

Thanks...I'll definitely look up the link. I'm avoiding Chicago like the plague...it might add 30 minutes to my trip, but there is nothing there that I lost and I wouldn't want the hassle they give to gun owners.

Re: Moving to VA from CA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good choice on living in VA...I've been here for 10 years (soon to move to Washington state) and Virginia is the way to go...you can always "visit" MD... Even better that you're leaving the Peoples Republic of California...you wont' miss it...I lived there for a couple of years and was hap...

Newbie (again)

New "again" member...I think my old membership was deleted since I've been AWOL for too long.

Anyhow...this is a great forum and thanks to the organizers for keeping it flying.

Re: New in King George

How do you like your DPMS Panther? I've been pleased with mine so far...some people say that it isn't too good just because of the price, but I've never had any issues with it so far.

Staying in a Hotel with Guns

I'm not brand new to this forum, but I hadn't been on in a while and forgot my logon (or I was deleted as a member for being AWOL). Nonetheless, I have a question to ask you all in regards to staying in a hotel with firearms. I've shipped all my long guns (did I mention I'm moving to Washington Stat...
