Re: Ridiculous CHP process in Radford
Interesting, a clerk at the Stafford County Clerk's Office slid mine to me under a glass window and wished me a nice day. Took longer waiting in line than to actually get the permit.

Re: College: What's the point?
All you guys are so right, especially about college being a business. I have a son who attends George Mason and two weeks ago, I got a phone call from a school fund raiser asking me to make a "good will donation". After all tuition and fees for EVERYTHING, even parking, they have the gall ...

Lautenburg - Background Checks to Purchase Powder
Before they had determined the marathon bombers used fireworks powder to detonate the pressure cooker bomber, Senator Lautenburg had already proposed that any powder purchases be subject to a background check. http://www.lautenberg.senate.gov/newsroom/record.cfm?id=341435& If you don't know the ...

Re: NY state troopers hesitant to enforce new gun laws
Don't really believe the troopers. I think they don't want any public backlash. Most police organizations are for gun control. Having been in law enforcement my entire adult life, I respectfully disagree. See link below on police opinion on gun control. The "organization" might toe the pa...

Re: DHS's ammo purchase should not worry you
Just wondering if anyone has done an analysis of total ammo acquisitions for the 5 years prior to this new ID/IQ contract. That would (should) give us an idea of what they really use.

Busch (Beer) resigns NRA membership
One day after the U.S. Senate rejected a bill that would have expanded background checks on guns, one of St. Louis' most powerful and staunch supporters of gun rights ended his lifetime membership with the National Rifle Association (NRA). In an email sent exclusively to NewsChannel 5's Leisa Zigman...

Re: Second Bomber surrounded.
Call me crazy but I'm happy they got one of them alive. This will remain in the news as the case progresses through the justice system and people will be reminded there are people among us who would rather kill us than hold the door open for us. Too soon people forget about yesterday's news and this...

Looks like those of us who ordered are satisfied, other than it being a little more expensive. Like I said before, at least I'm not paying the Walmart Ammo Trolls - I guess it's just a matter of principal.

Re: Shop that sold guns to Lanzas mother has license revoked
Yep, probably went to the shop right after the shooting, wrote them up for stuff they knew they couldn't fix in a timely manner, and now have reason to revoke their license.
