Re: Open a shooting range in Virginia?
First place I'd go is to my local shooting range. Ask around about different things as if I were going to open something up on the other side of the state where they wouldn't see me as being competition. Might get more open and honest answers that way. Thought about that. Good idea. Maybe even a co...

Open a shooting range in Virginia?
What would it take to open a shooting range in Virginia? Here are my initial thoughts. Please assist with any thoughts that you have. I will likely have to build a new facility, so I assume that zoning and all county requirements will have to be discussed with my local community development office b...

I was browsing on a few iPads this afternoon after upgrading them to the 4.2 iOS. It looks pretty good to me on the Safari browser. I might just have to pickup one when the iPad II comes out. Next week, I'm going to test access on a Samsung Tab  You get to play with all the cool toys! :ok:

Tracers and Incendiary Rounds - Legal?
I had someone ask me if tracer rounds are legal for civilians to own. From what I can tell, the rules on tracers and incendiary rounds vary from locality to locality. Can someone provide some insight regarding the legality of tracer rounds for civilian use? Thanks! In this specific case, the questio...

Re: .45 Cocked and Locked!
I guess it's mostly up to personal preference and comfort. What are you comfortable with? If you're comfortable carrying cocked and locked (Condition 1), then go for it. You've still got a thumb safety and a grip safety to get through before it will fire, so from a safety standpoint, it's just as sa...

Re: [Video] How to Field Strip a Glock
I'd say you should clean it after any visit to the shooting range. Break it down to the "Field Strip" level at a minimum, clean it up and lubricate it. There's no such thing as cleaning it too often - plus, after breaking it down a couple of times, you'll get used to it and it will become ...
