Norfolk County Rifle Range
Any members of the NCRR here? I recently transferred here and live in Suffolk (near downtown) and this looks like the closest range to me. Their website says membership is at capacity and was curious how long the wait is and what the facilities are like. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Online ammo?
I'll second gunbot.net. I've been able to score .223/5.56 and 9mm for decent prices. Stay vigilant and leave the website open in the background. It makes a beep when something new is added (page auto-refreshes every 60 secs).

Re: Active Duty Non-Resident Question
I'm assuming you have a TX driver's license? I'd take a copy of orders, Mil ID, a utility/phone bill with address, and your driver's license and give it a shot. I don't think you are the only active duty military member with a duty station in DC (at least according to your orders), but living in VA ...

Re: My CHP process
I just received mine in exactly two weeks. I was surprised how easy the process was. I'm coming from Arkansas, where 2 fingerprint cards were required and they took the picture off of your driver's license and put it on the concealed permit. The training requirement is more stringent there, as well....

New member checking in. Orginally from Fredericksburg. After a few duty stations out of the state I'm now back in VA, living in Suffolk.
