Re: A deal for all LE/Military at www.quanticotactical.com
Yeah, I went into this store with the intention of buying a S&W pistol the other day, and they wouldn't sell it to me because I don't meet the LE/MIL requirement. Long story short, a regular customer can not buy a Smith and Wesson firearm from Quantico Tactical, at all. I'm not sure if this is ...

Try shooting a few hundred rounds and report back. I already know the outcome, you will end up buying a real optic and not a toy if you actually shoot.

Re: I Want One - New German .30 Machine Gun
Weight, ease of setting up and taking down, and ergonomics come to mind. Also the ability to mount your optics and an IR laser and light for use with your night vision. Remember you're gonna be lugging that around the mountains of Afghanistan or some urban city around the clock and WWII tech isn't u...

Re: Unfit for Work: The startling rise of disability in America
I have a friend who is a quadriplegic from a motorcycle crash, and he was denied disability (though hopefully that gets reversed soon). And yet I see worthless shitbags who get it for the most trivial things. A broken system for sure.

Re: What is a good sight for an AR-15? I heard TruGlo
Your average AR15 rifle is a 1.5 moa rifle, shooting 3 moa milsurp ammo using a 2 moa aiming device typically. The Aimpoint is a combat optic for a combat rifle. In training and in engagements you are looking for "minute of man" accuracy. I have no problems hitting a 12" steel plate a...

The best safety ever!
I normally don't go out of my way to talk up a product, but thought some of you here might be interested in an ambidextrous safety selector made by Battle Arms Development called the B.A.D. A.S.S. I'm a righty, but do a lot of shooting off my support hand as well and this is a great item to add to y...

If the tall Aimpoint mounts didn't work, you wouldn't see everyone using them, including US and foreign military. The factory Aimpoint mount on the PRO is taller than the front sight post as well.

You can get a perfectly fine cheek weld with a tall Aimpoint mount. Also, regarding the warranty thing, Aimpoints are proven to work, in the worst of situations.

Re: What is a good sight for an AR-15? I heard TruGlo
If you are using a red dot sight correctly, you will not notice the front sight post, or even the body of the optic itself. In fact, you can run a lens cover over the front lens on the optic, and still use the red dot to make hits on target. This is because you are shooting with both eyes open, and...

IMO, a loud and crowded indoor range is a very poor learning environment for anyone, especially a new shooter.RWBlue01 wrote:I was hoping for a little more details on Blue Ridge.
