Springfield XD 40

Postby UpAllNightDude » Sat, 04 Sep 2010 23:21:32

Never been much of an XD fan, just because of how much it reminded me of glocks, but I ended up picking up this one for 330 bucks at a gun shop about an hour after it was brand new. I watched the guy buy it, shoot about half a box of ammo, and then sell it back to the store because he didn't like it. All in all I think I got a pretty good deal on a nearly brand new gun.

I'll put up a picture of the whole gun safe probably tomorrow... :lovegunporn:

That's why you rent before you buy! But good thing the guy didn't know better! Beautiful XD.

Good Deal. How does it shoot? I had thought about getting and XD-45 but didn't like the grip.

That was a deal. About $100.00 cheaper than my XD45 new.
What I like about the XD's is they are not as ugly as a glock.

That is a debatable point. I think XDs kinda look like a Glock and Hipoint love child...particularly with the slide bulge. SIGs at least stylize it a bit more. Almost like "training rails" for your slide. :hysterical:

Great functional guns though.

Shush, you. XD and XDM pistols are aesthetically pleasing, in an A-10 sorta way. I will admit my XDM 3.8 looks kinda out of kilter, though.
