I'm looking for a few .50 cal ammo cans with the seals still in tact. Let me know what you have and how much you want for them. They don't have to be cosmetically perfect, they just need to seal up.

If you don't find any locally, the Sportsman's Guide has a good deal on .50cal cans that look almost new.

I get them from a place outside Lynchburg for about $9 - $11 each (can't remember exactly). There's a good chance I'll be driving by there again this week. They aren't the prettiest ones I've seen, but they are tight.

There's also a good chance that I'll be at the Harrisonburg Show at 9AM Saturday. If you feel like driving down then I could possibly bring some up.

Thanks for the offer but I don't want to risk not being able to make it saturday and leaving you stuck with a bunch of cans. I didn't Even realize there was a show this weekend I'll probably head out there sat evening and see if I can't find a few at the show. Thanks for the offer though.

I see you are from Luray, one place nearby that would have them is Valley Surplus on route 42 in Harrisonburg, you have to inspect their cans, they sometimes are a little rusty. Another further away, but nicer quality cans is Stonewall Arms up in Winchester. Sometimes Stonewall runs out, so give them a call before you drive up.

One vendor at the Harrisonburg show has 50 cal cans for $8. It's in the back building near the back wall about 20 feet from the VCDL table. They appeared to be going fast.

I beat that, I was at the h'burg show this morning and the guy in the back building on the first row (the row with the food/drinks) had them for $7, so I picked up a couple .50 cal cans and a big ammo can that fits 2 .50 cans inside of it. All had good seals, and only minimal surface knicks and a little surface rust. I left happy and with my hands full

Good deal. I didn't see that guy or he was already sold out.
