Click here for details -> why does VCDL need my help? Putting up a Range at my House

Putting up a Range at my HouseI live in Stafford County and I have 4.3 acres of land. I want to set up a small pistol range with a good backstop made of several layers of tires filled with sand. Behind that are about a half mile of fence woods. I have read in several places that I can hunt on my land as long as I'm 100' away from a lived in dwelling and away from the road (I'd be 100 yards from the road) My neighbors don't care and would like to come shoot as well. Any thoughts? This would be for my own privet use.
Re: Putting up a Range at my HouseIt's really up to your local ordinances and zoning, as well as any HOA or covenants you may be party to. If there's no law (or other contractual obligation) saying you can't, then you can.
