Ocasio the next dem leader

This kind of thinking leaves my head spinning. Ocasio wants open borders -- then suggests high unemployment due to everyone having 2 jobs. << not sure what the correlation is here. But giving her the benefit of the doubt it sounds like she believes unemployment is a measurement of jobs available vs. jobs filled which is incorrect.

People working 60, 70 or 80 hours a week and can barely feed their kids. << I don't agree with this. But, what will happen with open borders and a flood of low budget labor comes in? Seems just Americans who feel they are worth a bit more will be unemployable due to higher standards.

Kids are not with their parents because they are learning they cannot force their way into the USA and they are leaving the kids at the border and they head south and home.

Seems to me she has raked all the key buzz-words from the pasture and attempted to include those in her presentation of her mission.

She's dangerous. She's basically Bernie Sanders in a more "culturally diverse" package, that's less likely to tuck tail and submit to things like having her podium taken, or a primary stolen from her.

It's easy to laugh at her now, but I'm concerned about the damage that she could do in a few years, once she becomes politically savvy. The girl is only 28; she has potential for a half-century (or longer!) career in politics. Much destruction can happen, in such a long time.

Hell... Compare her to Maxine Waters. Maxine makes assertions that are equally asinine, if not more so.

Hopefully, that "Walk-Away" movement, that's recently popped up, continues to gain traction. Then people like this will be less of a concern for a few years.

#walkaway IS gaining movement!

Friends of mine with a decided liberal lean are about done with the social engineering, and muckracking.

I have some that are kool-aid drinkers, but luckily have lil' to with them. The ones who were "blue dawgs"? Oh they're done. As soon as the party head said "SOCIALISM IS THE FUTURE OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY!"

Walked away.

I've been watching these #Walkaway videos, on YouTube. Seeing who is "Walking Away" has given me hope. Virtually every demographic has been represented, and many of them, several times, on these videos.

I was really hoping, that when Obama got elected to his second term, that he'd just push so far left, that the masses would be jarred awake. Well, it seems that I got my wish, but I never expected the Trump effect. I didn't even expect him to win, at first. And, while one may expect the left (and, sadly, even some on the right) to have a tantrum, when they don't get their way... The magnitude of this tantrum is ridiculous; and I'm kinda thankful for it. Then, icing on the cake, the Dems officially respond by doubling down on the extreme leftward push. It's wonderful.

But, as great as all this is... We must remain vigilant. The Left got caught off guard, and they are in freak-out mode, but they will eventually regain their composure. We know how the public memory works; in 5 years, many will have forgotten how stupid Ocasio sounds today, and she can easily be groomed to appear far more rational. And, there are many, just like her, that we haven't even heard of, yet. So, let's not get complacent, or cocky.

The fight is far from over.

What I'm waiting on? Cities to "break away" from the Constitution so hard they have to be SUED, and dragged before the SCOTUS, and then revolt.

California is trying "CALEXIT" by putting a "Reservation" between them, and the rest of the nation. i say Let it happen!

Pull ALL FEDERAL funding, troops, and resources, and let them die out.

@Randy: I have to disagree with that, lol; NOBODY makes Hillary look good. Ocasio and Hillary, both, will always stand on whatever side of an issue will pay the best. If they can figure out how to milk all sides of an issue, they'll do that, too. Whoever pays the least will get thrown under the bus, after the money is collected. (If they don't get run over by a bus, then they'll commit suicide by shooting themselves in the back of the head...) Both of those broads are a detriment.

@Rev: If Calexit takes place, that will be quite interesting to watch. I expect that California would break itself up into smaller states, which actually wouldn't be too bad a thing.

The #walkaway movement is gaining steam. That scares me and I'll tell you why. Republican voters are well known for sitting on their asses when they begin to believe it's "in the bag." It ain't "in the bag." The only thing that's "in the bag" is that pile of dog-poop that's gonna end up on our doorstep, on fire, in November when all those dildos who decided they didn't need to go to the polls wake up to Mad Maxine shouting, "Immo 'peach 45!"

We have to stay on this. Every Republican needs to get out and vote in November. All the talking heads were screaming about the 2008 and 2012 elections as being the most important in our lifetimes. WRONG! This is the one. If the Dems take the House AND the Senate we'll be screwed.

"In the bag". That's good.

And eternal vigilance means just that.
