Great! I get these every day, from 25 to 75% of the time. Been happening for months. It even happened on this thread (and on the reply preview page).

They pretty much all look like this:

I have made some adjustments to the SQL server and will continue to do so until this gets worked out.

Diomed, are you still getting these errors? I made a change last night and hope that it will help the specific issue that you're seeing.

The error that gunderwood received (mysql.sock) is because I was restarting the server and it wasn;t running when the page was loaded, therefore couldn't connect.

Hang with me for a bit while I adjust some things.
