WTS/WTT A variety of firearms [Tidewater area]Hi all. I've got a few pieces that I'd like to trade or sell. I will get pics up as I take them, and will likely show one pic and have more available if asked.
I will start with the one firearm that I have a specific trade in mind for: Sig Sauer P232 (blued slide) in .380ACP This is my mother's carry piece. Unfortunately, she has some issues with her shooting hand that make this one a little too difficult to shoot. As a result, she wants to move it and replace it with something else. So far, the piece she likes the most is my Glock G19. As a result, I am looking to help her out by trading her P232 for a G17, G19, etc. Other less-specific pieces: M1 Carbine by Quality Hardware w/ an Underwood barrel - This one is a Korean War armory rework, as it has a bayonet lug and the adjustable rear site. The stock is matte dark brown but the handguard has a slight gloss finish. As with the VAST majority of these guns, the parts do not match. Quality Hardware did not make much more than the receiver anyway, so it's not going to 'match'. Still, this one is in Good to Very Good condition. S&W M1937 revolver in .45ACP w/ a variety of half-moon and full-moon clips. This is the revolver produced by S&W for military and police use for Brazil, and was made with the same tooling as made the M1917 in use in both WWI and WWII. This is a Good to Very Good piece with the lanyard loop still attached and dull brown stocks. It has the correct 30's era slender grooved trigger, and the sweetest trigger pull ever on a revolver. It shoots like a dream. S&W 1026 10mm auto. This is a VA State Police pistol that I picked up quite a while back. They sold them off when they went to the Sig. The gun will come with three magazines, and a matched Gould and Goodrich LvII security holster and magazine pouch. The holster is probably 15 years old, so it is not perfect, but it is still in good condition and still holds the piece very securely. S&W M686, 7rd version. This is an oddball gun that did not show up for sale by S&W. The S&W Performance Center ordered a pile of 7rd M686 guns with the 3" barrel in matte stainless for some K-frame they were building, and S&W made too many. One of the local dealers managed to acquire one, and I got it. It's a brilliantly handy piece with rubber Hogue grips. I may have an H&K USP in .40 coming up shortly. If you are interested, let me know. Some accessories: 1900 Bayonet for a US Krag .30-40, with scabbard. Fair to Good condition. This is a serious bayonet. The blade is probably a foot long. 10rd factory magazine for a Sig Sauer P229 in .40 S&W 8rd factory magazine for a Taurus PT945 Applegate-Fairbairn Combat Knife by Blackjack, comes with kydex holster -- What I am interested in: My primary interest would be in a decent AR-15 of some sort. Configuration is not terribly important, but I prefer the shorter models, and likewise prefer 5.56 NATO as the caliber. Barring an AR, similar rifles would be considered, as I am primarily looking for something in carbine size, 5.56mm, and removable magazine (preferably AR mags). It is a role issue, not a specific preference towards AR's. Secondary interest would be in a duty auto preferably in .45ACP, with a definite preference for a Sig P220 or USP. A decent 1911 would be possible as well, largely because I have a friend what wants one and has a pistol that I like that he'd trade for it. As my mother is looking for a G17/19/etc, if you have one and want to trade it for something on my list, I will certainly consider it. I want her to be properly armed. Aside from this, I'm pretty open on trades, and likewise open to reasonable cash offers. I will do FFL to FFL so long as you pay for the shipping and handle the details, and will also do FTF int he Tidewater area. Heck, if the trade is particularly juicy, I will drive farther. Shoot me a PM and we'll see. If we do FTF, I will want to see a VA driver's license and voter's reg card, CCW permit, or security license. Active Duty military ID will probably work too, so long as you are a resident. So PM me, and let's get some trading going. As I said, I'll post pics when I take them and get them hosted.
Re: WTS/WTT A variety of firearms [Tidewater area]Forgot to add that I also have an Emerson-designed Benchmade CQC7 combat folder for trade/sale. It's ATS-34 steel, plain-edged, and I believe from the first run. I've had it since the mid-90's/ It has some very minor wear from being carried in my range bag, but it is otherwise Very Good to Excellent.
Re: WTS/WTT A variety of firearms [Tidewater area]Sig p229 mag is sold.
And, as an aside, a rifle in which I am interested is the Kel-tec SU16. I mention this in hopes both that someone will have one that they might be willing to trade, and to illustrate flexibility. And, as a note, the S&W 1026 will include 100rds of ball and 26rds of Federal Hydrashok hollowpoints, the M1 Carbine has 3 15rd mags, and the M686 will come with 2 speedloaders and a basic nylon holster.
Re: WTS/WTT A variety of firearms [Tidewater area]Per request, pics of the S&W M686.
![]() ![]() It's probably had all of 100rds put through it, and it has never been carried.
Re: WTS/WTT A variety of firearms [Tidewater area]686 was delivered just as described i would deal with him again.
Re: WTS/WTT A variety of firearms [Tidewater area]
Thanks, GR.
Re: WTS/WTT A variety of firearms [Tidewater area]S&W 1026 is gone too. It's been a heckuva week.
Mods, you can move this post to the SOLD area. I have a few items left but this one is pretty cluttered at this point and I don't want to give people the wrong impression.
