WTS SKS Stocks & Parts

Postby Dadcpu » Sat, 30 Jul 2011 08:20:03

I have a few SKS stocks laying around that someone could put to better use. If you want to put your SKS back to wood furniture here ya go.

Russian threaded barrel type with upper & gas tube $65 (Factory red)
Chinese pinned barrel type with upper handguard $50 (Refinished Golden Oak)
Yugo with upper handguard & aftermarket gas tube $50
Yugo without upper wood & no gas tube $30 (needs refinishing)

I also have two 10 round fixed mags for $25 each.

Any pictures? My Chinese SKS has the red fiberglass stock and I think it's ugly. Will the pinned oak stock work?

Depends, the Chinese made threaded and pinned barrel SKS's. The threaded barrel stock is about 1/4" longer to the cross bolt so the threaded and pinned fit a threaded stock BUT the pinned are 1/4" shorter to the barrel lug so they only fit a pinned barrel. Here is an older pic of the Chinese pinned and the Russian threaded.

Here is how you tell the difference between a pinned and threaded barrel (Note the pin under the arrow of 1st barrel)
