I apologize for a possibly stupid question.
I've just moved back to VA after being in Ohio for over 3 decades so I'm not totally up to speed on VA gun law.
Is there a legal reason for you requiring a transfer through an FFL?

OBTW - Very nice basic 1911. I don't need another 1911 unfortunately.

If you bought it new, your name will always be the first to come up in a trace.

Save the extra expense. You are not required to go an FFL for any private sales in VA.

I'm willing to pay in Yankee Dollars for that gun. If you want to transfer it through a dealer, I'm cool with that. It boils down to this: I'm 399 miles from Herndon. How far west will you come to sell that gun?

I don't think it's a good idea to put that online. WHO KNOWS who's checking? I love big-caliber and longe-range rifles and 1911 pistols, and I've got a few.

Next Firearm:
I can always use another 1911.

Yeah, well chalk it up to me being paranoid.

That's all good, i have no problem with that, i'll just point "them" to the next road sign.

Hey dorminWS thank you for the offer, i am not sure even if we meet 1/2 way it'll be worth the drive to meet up Gas price being the way it is today.

I can always ship to a 01 FFL of your choice, that might be better than a drive.
