For sale is a Griffon 1911A1 Combat I purchased in the late 90's. Griffon's were imported from Sough Africa and use all standard 1911 parts. I replaced the crappy plastic grips that came on them with Colt wooden grips. It has a round count of approx 50, has never been carried, and has been a safe queen for years. It comes with 2 mags and a hard case. It has night sights (dead) that are encircled with a white edge so they are still very usable. It's a great weapon but I have become a Glockman and don't have much use for it anymore. Asking $425 and willing to drive within 50 miles of Yorktown to find this baby a new home. I'd probably have bought that pistol, but I'm 425 miles from Yorktown. Weird thing is, I was in Richmond yesterday and the day before. Just as well, I guess. I need to learn I can't have 'em all.
