I recently made my first purchase of a firearm the other day, and I got a Benelli SuperNova! :yahoo: I'm already thinking about some upgrades. Any suggestions for stock, sights, and magazine?

Congrats! As for upgrades what do you plan to do with it?

I'd use it for tactical purposes and home defense, from Big Brother or zombies, whichever comes first! :fireright:

Watch out for the zombified big brother zombies. If they still had their helmets on when they died, headshotting them may prove tricky.

If your going tactical you can really have some fun.

I don't know what your Super Nova has already but I would recommend:
Mag Tube Extension
Short 18in Barrel
Side Saddle
Flashlight Mounted on The Gun-Surefire forends are considered one of the better systems(always know you target)
Tritium Front Sight

Be Careful! This stuff adds up $$$ quick and next thing you know you want it all!

No of these things are truely need for an effect tactical gun but they all help.

ABOVE ALL: PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!

Looks great!

*I have no experienced personally with these but my recommendations are based on others.*

Side Saddle:
Tacstar is the most popular brand. They make a plastic shell holder with a aluminium backplate. As far as I can tell they only make a 4 round version for the Super Nova.(I have one coming in for my 870) Mesa Tactical "SureShell" side saddles are considered the higher quality saddles. They are all aluminium expect a small piece of rubber to retain the shell and many add a top rail for optics. They make a 4 and 6 round. They also make one that fits in the sling mount on the stock it looks rather nice.

Mag Extensions:
"Nordic, Surecycle and DMW make the best quality magazine tubes. Choate and TacStar are budget tubes... some have no problems, others do."(pulled that quote from another forum)

Weapons light:
I thinks Surefire make one that fits a Super Nova(will m1/m2 forends fit a Super Nova?). You can also buy clamp on rails that allow you to mount a small handgun light such as the Streamlight TRLs. Of course you can work of a solution using various mount and lights. Or you could get really creative. I once saw a video where Clint Smith had a flashlight rubberbanded to a double barrel!

Tritium Front Sight:
I recommend only installing the front sight on this gun. If you install the rear one it eliminates the advantage of ghost ring sights, quick acquisition.
