Re: extreme risk protection orders

Yeah, but Virginia has been infiltrated by carpet baggers. Sadly, until we get some solid conservatives back in office, in this State, things will probably get worse, before they get better.

Re: It finally happened, I had to pull.

Lol, those little "Ring of Fire" pistols (Jennings, Jiminez, Raven, etc) have their place. If that's all that you can afford, it's better than nothing. I have experience with two, and they both run flawlessly. (Though, one is picky about ammo...) Also, they are very cost effective to colle...

Re: It finally happened, I had to pull.

Glad you finally got your gun back. It's absurd that it took so long. If that officer has moved to the Richmond area, it seems that I have one more reason to avoid that area. Wonder if he moved to Dinwiddie? He'd probably get along with the local Sheriff... [ Post made via Mobile Device ] http://vag...

Re: extreme risk protection orders

Armed, law-abiding citizens are an "extreme risk" to power hungry tyrants, which is why we have a 2nd Amendment, to begin with. Who gets to define the terms "immediate" and "threat"? [ Post made via Mobile Device ] http://vagunforum.net/images/mobile.png

A Response to a Cowardly Parent

So, some guy finds out that his 24 year old daughter (who lives with him) has aquired a pistol. Even scarier... she has... hollow point bullets!! So, in a panic, he writes to advice columnist Amy Dickinson, who proceeds to give horrible advice based on false statistics and poor research. This comes ...

Re: Virginia Beach shooting and a question

Seems that Kate Nixon had a serious discussion with her husband, about carrying at work, the night before she was murdered. She decided against it, so as not to get into trouble. https://www.foxnews.com/us/gun-free-zone-law-disarmed-virginia-beach-shooting-victim-attorney-says This is frustrating, t...

Re: Virginia Beach shooting and a question

Every time something like this happens, the aftermath is the same. The left immediately politicises the incident, and we get upset about it. At this point, we need to fight on that level, ourselves. These things are due, in no small part, to failed leftwing policy. We must go on the offensive, and t...

Re: Handgun in Apartment

@ Jon, unless something changed (which is possible!), it can be "secured in a container". Your glove box or center console counts as a secured container. Off the top of my head, I don't know the code that states that... [ Post made via Mobile Device ] http://vagunforum.net/images/mobile.png

Re: Handgun in Apartment

This all sounds like a nuisance. I'd just OC between my front door and my car. Most people probably won't notice, anyway. I used to OC in Williamsburg, regularly, when I lived there. That place attracts all manner of looney libs, carpetbaggers, and other undesirables. I found that 99% of the populat...

Re: PSA Approval-15 stripped lower

That's funny. Also, the Q&A is funny. Q: Can this be registered in California? A: If you have to ask, you need to move to a freer state. I note that these are temporarily out oc stock; not surprising. [ Post made via Mobile Device ] http://vagunforum.net/images/mobile.png

Not Particularly Comforting...

This article was linked, over at Instapundit: https://thefederalist.com/2019/05/02/ethics-seminar-lawyers-say-theyd-report-client-legally-owning-gun/ At a recent ethics class for lawyers, it appears that some of the attending attorneys would be inclined to terminate a relationship with a client, and...

Re: Any one else just cannot get rid of anything?

Never much been into selling guns. Though, I did trade one to a close friend, when he found himself having to go to Richmond, a few times a week. His budget didn't really allow for buying anything, so we worked something out. I also lent one out to my parents, until they found what they wanted. But,...

Re: AEG, Diablo 12 gauge pistol ???

That looks like a fun thing to have.

It would be more of a novelty, though, than a practical tool. Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course.

Re: Bump stock ban deadline is tomorrow.

Perhaps I'm sentimental, but I'm not yet ready to give up on Virginia.

I'm all for the notion of freedom loving folks moving to Virginia. Maybe that will help combat the carpetbagger infestation in NOVA.

Re: AOC - The Puppet

AOC would be cute, I suppose, but a big part of attractiveness to me, is in attitude, demeanor, and overall personality. As to craziness, well... My sister is of the opinion that ALL women are crazy. While I do not claim to agree with her assessment, I find it difficult to assemble an opposing argum...

Re: Hello from a soon to be

Welcome to Virginia, and welcome to the forum. Activity has died off, in recent years, but a few of us still drop in to see what's happening. That forge sounds interesting; I've been thinking about putting one in my own backyard, when I reach a point when I'll actually be home to use it. [ Post made...

Re: Hit this poll TODAY!

USA Today must find this to be discouraging.

Myself, I'm a little amazed by the results. I rather expected a more even split.

Not that I'm complaining, mind you.
