As many of you are likely aware, there's an old law on the books in Virginia that makes it illegal to hunt on Sunday. The law goes back to colonial times when people lived in the wild and hunted all week to feed themselves. Now that we all have jobs that we work all week and most of us don't hunt for a living, it makes sense to pull that old law out and give it a proper burial.
There's a group on Facebook driving to get the old "Hunting on Sunday" law removed. Here's a link to the group: http://www.facebook.com/groups/291807261572/
The group has rented a booth at the Virginia Sportsman Show at the Richmond Raceway Complex August 12th, 13th and 14th.
The group could still use a couple of folks to help man the booth on Friday and Sunday. If you're willing to help out, you can post up here or on the "Legalize Virginia Sunday Hunting For All" Facebook page
