Anybody going to the gunshow this weekend in Richmond?
My youngest son is off tomorrow and he's trying to decide whether to go to the gunshow or the range and do some shooting, I told him it was his choice.
If i don't get to the gunshow Saturday I'll probably make it over there about 1100 on Sunday. I hate standing in line.

Well, made it by there this afternoon. Got 4 boxes of Hornady .30 caliber 150 grain FMJBTs and one box with 500 125 grain jacketed HPs for my .357 Magnum reloading.
Hey, anyone every use .357 bullets in a 9mm?

You know, there's a lot to "like" there................Colt..............1911...............45 ACP.......see what I mean. There's just something about a 1911. I went to the range awhile back with my (new to me) Browning BDM. After a combination of function testing the new magazines and pistol I was looking at the groups and thinking to myself, "Darn, its been way too long since I've shot a pistol and I should've brought my glasses." I was feeling a little down and decided to try out the .45 ACP (a ParaOrdnance P14 I'd never shot either). After the first magazine (again, not really focusing on the group but focusing on the sights and trigger/grip, etc.) I took a better look at the target and realized the 9mm groups weren't all my fault. A .45 just has a way of putting the smile back on your face.

Went this afternoon, had to drop off my ICORE gun for repairs and pick up some stuff I'd had refinished.
Pretty poor show, though after SAR I guess almost anything would be a letdown.
