Target Sports Range at Orchard Lake

Taking the future father-in-law and fiancée shooting shortly here in Michigan. He hasn't fired a handgun in decades, and never a polymer gun; he's also never been shooting with his daughter. Should be a blast! Range report when we get back.

We did. The range did not allow steel cartridge ammo - so no Wolf ammo. They also make you buy rifle ammo from them, so it was $9.99 for a box of 20 Federal XM193 cartridges. The targets were not secured by anything other than the T bar, so paper plates would not have worked; the paper targets we bought flapped with every .357 Magnum round.

Speaking of .357 Magnum, my 5" GP100 was my fiancée's father's favorite handgun. The .45 ACP was a second of the handguns. The AR15 (Ruger SR556) was probably his favorite overall - he hunts, so he was spot on target every time.
