yeah, yeah, i know, it's commonplace over there. it's gonna take a thousand more years for them just to make it to a 17th century standard of civilization, if it's even possible!

damnitalltohell, i seldom use the word 'hate' for anything, but these kinds of things push me to that edge. i've got six nieces, two sisters, a sister-in-law, a mother and a whole bunch of dear women friends. if anyone ever tried to harm them, there'd surely be a 'holy war'!

For me, I'm just amazed a woman was raped by Pashtuns. Usually boys and our four legged friends get that kind of attention over there.

Edited to add... I've taught most of my women kinfolk to handle firearms and a number of my women friends too. A number have turned out to be natural shots. Heaven help anyone or any group that tries to force oppression, gender-based or otherwise, on any of them!
