My cranium is fine and dandy btw. All it did was remind me we once elected leaders of substance, now most Americans jibber like idiots and follow whoever shrieks the loudest. 50 years ago that woman would have been either:

A) In the kitchen (where she belongs incidentally)

or

B) In an asylum (see parenthesis above)

Mark my words Nixon was the last great modern POTUS. Palin would be another train wreck, cant run a presidency on sound bytes and being habitually uninformed about everything.

It is interesting to see Nixon and 'sound bytes' in the same post, given that he recorded quite a few during his interrupted stay in office.

Show me another 20th century politician that grew up poor in a two bedroom house with seven people and wind up President I'd be really damned impressed.

Palin is a greedy self-serving opportunist taking advantage of people, I mean, that's OK, PT Barnum covered that nicely a century ago, but to think that Palin has a solution to any single problem whatsoever, much less be fit to serve in office (except as mayor of a meth capital) is ludicrous.

It doesnt matter one iota where Nixon grew up. He sullied the office of president and is nothing more than a common criminal...anyone disputing that is a moronic twit...
