Senator Graham, in response to these privacy concerns said, "This program would not expand like that." [ The author refrained from calling Graham a liar, I wouldn't have. This national ID card will expand exactly this way, and morph into a very effective tool used by the government to completely control the US population. It will do nothing to stop illegal aliens from finding work. It will do nothing to stop employers from hiring cheap "under-the-table" help. What it will do is give Uncle Sam a way to know exactly what, where and when you are doing something, buying something, or selling?

Chuckie and his effeminate RINO pal from SC can shove that National ID card. Anything with Chuck Schumers name on it and lately Graham too is not to be trusted. The country need to actually enforce the laws we have, step up border security and take PC out of the equation so the job can be done. As far as not expanding like Liberal Lindsay says:: BULL !!just look at how our SS# is used today,, It wasn;t supposed to be an identifier either. Just how long before the illegals figure out how to forge the thing?? THey can get ID now that passes pretty well for daily use. It is a Big Brother idea that needs to be put to sleep before it even takes a full breath.,,.

I agree, and Graham is being touted by the media as the Republican who is going to help the whitehouse on a number of issues as long as obama yeilds to graham's wishes for closing gitmo "in a responsible way"(according to graham) one of the ways he thinks is responsible is to "make sure that these terrorists are held responsible somewhere other than New York City, like the Hauge", Senator Graham actually said this on foxnews this very morning.

So John McCains' buddy lindsay thinks its best to close Gitmo(just like a democrat) and relinquish American justice procedures to the United Nations,(just like a democrat).....he is in favor of a national ID card for ALL people in the United States, not just illegals(just like a democrat) and he is for amnesty, what democrats call "making a pathway for all immigrants and undocumented workers to become fully vested citizens"...hmm just like John McCain, and other democrats.....maybe thats why we are in the shape we are in, last election we had a choice between two democrats.

Exactly why the term RINO fits these guys, McCain and Graham are exposed now.It may or may not be progressive of them but their kind of government we can do without!! Next election cycle hopefully their states voters get smart and send em packin!!

well I believe Arizona has caught on, and I think J.D.Hayworth will unseat McCain....South Carolina is a crap shoot, I had hoped they would throw their bum governor out after his "problems"came to light....

The way Lindsay has been playing footsie with the Dems and Obama I think SC could very possibly unseat Graham,, he;s been way to cozy with them and Obama and to do anything with Chuck Schumer is just plain criminal... Graham played his hand way too soon when he voted yes for Sotomayer with the Dims..He's been going down the pipe from ever since,, Come on November.

Right, if you want to hire illegals all you gotta do is go down to the local U-haul, zippy mart, home depot, etc and pick em up. No ID required. Only cash. This wont stop that and illegals cant get a regular job anyway unless they forge documents. And Spence is right - this ID will be forged too somehow.

If you have ever tried to catch a wild animal, the way you do it is incremental. Slowly you move all sides towards the animal until he can't move away from you anymore. Look what OUR own government is doing to the American populace. They are keeping the economy down, unemployment high, and people in distress on purpose, all the while they are moving in on us with all this "change", healthcare, cap and trade,Bio-medical national ID cards,(all of these "programs are designed to control not serve the public) It's as if they want to "catch " us without getting bitten.....

I cant disagree with you there, but I've cornered a couple of wild animals that I wished I didnt...and even if you taunt a loved pet they will eventually growl and may even bite...

just heard nancy pelosi is supposed to address the media sometime today regarding this......I wish someone would throw a bucket of water on her......
