Today, as the debate raged why Bush 41 lost to Clinton, I heard every type of excuse in the books. "PEROT!" "THE GULF WAR!" "TAXES"...

I then gently reminded the group that Bush did not lose by many points. It was not a landslide.

And then I told them. "Remember that he went with Bill Bennetts (Head of the BATF) 1989 Gun Importation Ban, and that irritated quite a few gunowners who went with Perot."

Quite a few of them FORGOT about that... And that's the reminder.
