It wasn't an irrational jump to conclusions. I hadn't even made a conclusion yet, I described it as being very coincidental and made a guess as to who may have done it.

Its called "leading"; basically you lay down a list of reasons, claims, whatever, and personally make no claim to being their author. Just being a reporter of what "others" are saying. It lets you throw stuff out there without having to take responsibility for it.

I still stand behind my guess as being a very possible one, concidering the circumstances. Let's look at them:
1) Carbombs are used by terrorists daily

Daily? Seems we'd have run out of Muslims by now!

2) DHS just announced several weeks ago that terrorists were seriously trying to use them in the US

DHS also claims middle class white Americans are terrorists #1, do you agree with that too?

3) the bomb went off on the same day muslims were celebrating their attack on the US by opening a mosque on Ground Zero

Whoa, really? The mosque thats not a mosque thats not near ground zero? Man, you folks are like tape recorders.

4) the bomb went off only a county away from one of the largest muslim communities in the US

Huh, someone around here has been shooting out car windows with a BB gun, and this county happens to be mostly Republican....so obviously the vandalism is the work of tea party terrorist partisans!

See how easy it is?

Middle class Americans aren't committing acts of terrorism "Almost Daily" around the rest of the world. Muslims have been using car bombs in just about every country but America...so far. I find the car bomb threat much more believable.

Obviously unfair to Fox News. If some one draws such conclusions from a story he read on MSNBC is that MSNBC's fault? No. So the whole of Fox as a source being invalid is a red herring.
