Kind of fun, uses candidates statements to see how well you agree with them, then ranks them for you based on your answers.

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/OTUS/ful ... d=15177995 I got... 1) Obama 2) Ron Paul 3) Romney So rattle my bones all over the stones, I'm only a beggar-man whom nobody owns. Oh, see how words as old as sin, fit me like a glove.
I'm here and here I'll stay.
Re: Candidate MatchmakerHmmmm............
It scored me thusly: (1) Ron Paul (agreed on 5 issues) (2) Rick Perry (agreed on 4 issues) (3) Newt Gingrich (agreed on 4 issues) Paul I regard as a person with whom I agree on a lot of things, but who is (1) too extreme and simplistic on some issues, and (2) irritating to listen to as a speaker because of his meandering, choppy delivery and whiney voice. And I don't think he's electable come November 2012. Perry is someone who strikes me as a guy who ought to have been a fundamentalist preacher or a travelling salesman peddling either bibles or aluminum siding. As pappy used to say, I wouldn't trust him in an outhouse with a muzzle. I'm not sure why. But I do suspect he's a little bit of a lightweight on some issues. But maybe it's TIME to do something even if it's going to make a mell of a hess in the short term and let the chips fall where they may. (Perhaps this may also apply to Paul's positions on some things, as well.) Newt is an intriguing intellect who is well-spoken, literate and with whom I agree on many issues. His MORAL "baggage" doesn't really concern me if he could be relied upon to get done what needs doing. Besides, as he said in one of the debates, he's a 70-something grandfather; that's sort of a dead issue now. But I don't know if the general electorate will take that view. And I worry he'll be TOO willing to compromise, and concede too much ground to the liberals on the wrong issues; so it's his PHILOSOPHICAL baggage that I stick on.All that being said, I'd vote for any of them before I'd vote for Obama. Re: Candidate MatchmakerMine ranked in at
1. Ron Paul -- This I understand as I agree for the most part with his views on States Rights but not sure yet on his Foriegn policy. 2. Newt Gingrich -- Must have been the questions on the Boarder that got him on the list. 3. Mitt Romney -- This Idiot came out of the blue; I have no idea why his name came up ??????? Notice there were no questions on the 2nd Ammendment! Have fun I think I will take it again and see how it turns out "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms."

Re: Candidate MatchmakerABC News matched me with:
1)Bachmann 2)Perry 3)Paul As I have undoubtedly mentioned on this site before, I am not a fan of Ron Paul. But, I'm not surprised that he made my list. I do agree with him on many issues. Taggure noted a lack of 2A questions. Considering the source, however, the lack of such question ought not come as a shock. Thanks for the quiz, Kreutz. My father found a similar one regarding all the candidates about 4 years ago. I like them. "God Almighty created simplicity. Complexity, inspired by the Great Deceiver, tends to be the province of men. " S. H. M., IV
Re: Candidate MatchmakerI got
1. Rick Perry 2. Newt Gingrich 3. Michelle Bachmann Right about now though I am so sick of the whole thing that I am checking out of politics till after the first of the year. I swear it seems like a choice between would you like arsenic in you taco or in your scrambled eggs.
