We shared Common Law with them at the time of the Revolution. This is what Progressives call progress.

Entertaining read
I looked up Tim Considine (child star of the 50’s) and saw a blurb about his grandfather killing a former police chief in self defense. Looked it up and found an interesting read.

I don’t think I’d consider carrying a sawed-off shotgun even if it was legal.

Re: Pray for our country
Amen. Now, keep a sense of humor. To paraphrase Chris Rock, “I’m not sayin’ they should have done it...but I understand.” I do think the actions in DC were illegal and reprehensible as all get out, but remember too that Trump has no copyright on inciting violence. Here’s a list to get us started: ht...

Man! She has a lot of excellent points, but I do wish she had composed it better and rehearsed. I could get through around 18 minutes by breaking it up into small segments and I believe I could have done that in 4.

Good to hear something resembling sanity in this day and age.
I also read that Ohio just passed a “Stand Your Ground” law. I’ll sleep well tonight.

Re: Red Flag law
So...how much has the suicide rate gone down? If that number does not equal the number of red flag actions, the difference equals the number of illegal deprivations of a Constitutional right.

Loudoun County Police Department
So...Loudoun County Supervisors wants to vote on a referendum for a police department? I have to wonder how much of that consideration was precipitated by the 2A sanctuary movement. It would put policing leadership more directly under their control. [ Post made via Mobile Device ] [img]/images/mobil...

Well, somebody that those folks trust and look up to told them that it's easier to buy a gun than a book or vegetable.

Re: Red Flag law
That's a lot to digest. It appears to me that disassembly into component parts in order to hand over that which is legally defined as "firearm" is an option for collectors fearing damage or marring to other components. My question concerning the application of this law is, "If, after ...

Re: How to fight the latest push for gun control
I agree that hard work yields results and I applaud the attitude. I would not dare, however, to allow myself to consider any results to be "lasting." Consider the "one gun a month" law. At first there was no such thing. Then, New York complained and we wound up with "one gun...
