Re: Any one else just cannot get rid of anything?
Looking back over the years of collecting, shooting... etc... etc.... I can honestly say... I have never sold or given a gun to a family member that I did not feel bad about it immediately.... I have always had second thoughts... no matter the reason, the price, the bottom line... even the cheapies ...

I think the only difference would be in the caliber... there would bound to be buyers for this kind of gun.... gheezzzzz..... well, it probably wouldn't ki...

Re: Compare: 300 Blackout/7.62X39
Great info... I sort of knew the background of the AK47... I have a friend who hunts with a AR 300 BO... I just can't wrap my head around hunting with an AR style weapon... military certainly but I am an old Marine... who qualified in 1961 with the Garand... later the M14... and never got my hands o...

Compare: 300 Blackout/7.62X39
I recently purchased a Ruger Ranch in 7.62X39... I wanted a semi-auto .30 caliber rifle... although I have always hunted with a bolt action... I am getting a bit old now and just wanted something a little more... uh... manageable... I opted for the 7.62X39 because I was sort of familiar with the rou...

Re: How to post pictures in the forum
I know this is old... but... what is anyone using as an internet transfer site for pics now that Photobucket has removed the ability to post pics from their site (unless of course if you want to pay the exorbitant price to keep the process... ) ... is there any other site that allows transferring th...

Nite sights for Beretta and XD compact
Anyone know why there seem to be few, if any, nite sights for the PX4 Storm Subcompact (.40)?... I have a front sight from Ameriglow on my M&P .40 Shield and rear sights from Trijicon on the rear (I just liked the big green front and Trijicon didn't make it, so I combined the two...) anyway... I...

Yes, thanks for the info... Re: A Place To Tell Jokes
This story is true!! An old friend of mine, whom we will call Dennis, known for his wit, was working in a grocery store in the very rural community we live in.... An old maid school teacher, whom we will call Miss Judith , well known in town, came in one afternoon looking to buy a chicken for dinner...

Lady walks into the Vets with a dead duck in a basket. She asks the doctor to take a look at her duck. He shakes his head and says... "very sorry ma'am but the duck is dead" "Oh no" she says... "please look closer, I know he may come around". "No ma'am, the duck is...

Robbery in gun free zone???
I read somewhere recently, that a robbery took place, I believe in Richmond or surrounding area, in a store that had a "No guns allowed" sign in the window or on the front door... does anyone recall seeing that article or have any info on the occurrence? As I recall, it was sort of breezed...

Re: Ruger LCP vs. SW Bodyguard (.380)
Just thought I would post a quick follow up on this thread.... after a year or so... I ended up buying a 'Bodyguard'.... then after several trips to the range... I gave my little LCP to my daughter. I keep the Bodyguard in the center console of my SUV... not a carry weapon but sort of a 'backup to t...

Re: Beretta Nano - yet another new pocket 9mm
Pretty much agree, I have 2 Berettas and a Cougar myself, though I went with a compact PX4 .40 for my carry rotation. Actually, I also have a PX4 sub compact in .40.... it is rather bulky however... I do like it and it fits me well but is rather heavy... I am considering the Nano cause the LCP Ruge...
