Virginia Gun Owners Forum - VGOF

Hey everybody! I'm new so I think I'm supposed to introduce myself.

I was born and raised outside of Roanoke, VA...and I'm still here. I had worked in law enforcement for several years in the past, and really enjoy expanding my knowledge of firearms. I mainly shoot for recreation, and definitely enjoy learning new things as far as self defense goes. Being a female, it just makes me feel so much better knowing I'm not bringing a hot pink can of mace on my keychain to a gun fight in a dark parking lot.

I definitely look forward to learning new things by reading all the great stuff on this site. Thanks in advance!

Still fairly new to Roanoke myself, but welcome all the same.

And as far as basketball, I'm still in a football state of mourning over our bowl game. I guess I need to just let it go. Sigh.
