Republican primary tonight!!!!

The date of the special election to select a replacement for Attorney General Elect, Ken Cuccinelli’s Senate seat (37th District) has yet to be set, but it'll probably be in January. Tonight is the three way race for the (37th District) Republican nomination.

IMPORTANT ACTION ITEM

All three candidates have answered the VCDL Candidate Survey STRONGLY pro-gun.

VCDL-PAC has had a constructive dialog with each of the three candidates on the issues. In addition, Steve Hunt has spoken at and attended several VCDL membership meetings and Marianne Horinko has spoken at and attended one VCDL membership meeting.

Clearly, all three care about the issues that matter to VCDL members.

Since VCDL has their pro-gun surveys responses, but none have, as of yet, an actual voting record, the VCDL-PAC will have more to say later with regards to an endorsement for the special election to be held in January.

Get out and vote tonight if you live the the 37th District. Support the candidate of your choice tonight, but thank them all for their interest in pro gun issues.

Something to be said for a pro gun women candidate.

I saw on another website that ONLY HUNT had answered his survey. I wish the surveys AND THEIR RESPONSES were posted.

Well, Hunt won. On his website, under "Individual and Human Rights" he states:

Life - Life is precious and should be protected from conception to natural death. This is especially true for the life of the vulnerable; the child in the womb, those unable to care for themselves and the senior citizen in the hospital. Also, an individual has the right to defend his and his family's lives through the right to keep and bear arms.
