Results are in for the VCDL survey given to all potential candidates for Congress this year.. far to many chose to NOT reply to it and that is not satisfactory... In less than two weeks, on Tuesday, November 2, there will be a General
Election to select your member of Congress.

The VCDL 2010 Federal Candidate Survey was mailed to all 35 candidates
running for Congress in August. Unfortunately, not all the candidates
have responded to the survey.

Note: Some of the candidates were in the June Primary and may claim
that they have already answered the VCDL Candidate Survey. However,
since the Primary, the survey has undergone some substantial revisions
with 5 new questions, one question deleted, 1 question modified, and the
background info on 3 questions updated.

Please contact *all* the candidates in YOUR Congressional District by
BOTH email AND phone:

-- THANK the candidates who answered the VCDL Candidate survey for
responding
-- Urge those candidates who have not answered to answer the VCDL
Survey

Don't accept vague generalizations such as "the candidate supports the
2nd Amendment". Remember, anti-gun zealot Chuck Schumer says he
supports the 2nd Amendment, but his view is that it does NOT apply to you.

If any of the candidates are afraid to take a public stand on these
issues now, before the election, then they are unlikely to be very
responsive to your views after the election. There is absolutely NO
reason why they should not answer this survey!

Failure to return a completed survey frequently indicates indifference,
if not outright hostility, toward the Right to Keep and Bear Arms.

If they have misplaced their survey, have them contact me at vp@vcdl.org
and I'll email them another copy.

Would be nice if you could find something out about the surveys on the VCDL site...or did I miss something...they need a web master over there pretty bad to keep stuff updated...

You are dead on with that ,You didn;t miss anything ,It's not there,I thought the same thing this AM after going there and not seeing it.... Would at least like to see what I;m supporting from an organization I;m a member of

Well, they only have 6-7 candidates responded. Maybe they are waiting to post results when more responses come in.

Meanwhile, I am very dissapointed about Forbes and already told him that he needs to move fast and respond.

In the 2nd District I received an answer from Scott Riggel and he did fill it out and return it with 100% total support for gun rights.../Now Mr Nye is another thing!! Not even a whisper from his camp yet..

If you check the political page it was last updated in 2007...
