They are pushing for a stricter enforcement of the 1968 gun law that prohibits people with a history of drug abuse, criminal activity, or mental illness, from buying guns.

Why is it that it always seems to be a New Yorker in one form or another that starts this garbage? Screwing their own state up isn't enough? If they had it their way you'd need a permit to "look" at guns let alone to buy one.... They'llbe more to come from this I'm sure as the grandstanders voice their useless opinions and attempt to take the rights of law abiding people in the name of some false sense of security that they envision will happen if all their dreams are fulfilled and the Wizard grants them a wish.
