If you got a good deal or great service from a shop or range and you want to brag about them, here's the place to do it. Likewise, if you are unhappy about someone's service or feel like you've been ripped off, we want to know that too!

I couldn't agree more about the folks at NOVA Armament. I originally went there for a FFL transfer, but after considerable discussion I came away as a very satisfied customer, and the proud owner of an AR-15, M4 type rifle. We had a very long discussion about whether to proceed with the FFL transfer, or to purchase a model from NOVA Stock from a different manufacturer of whom I was not familiar. On the spot they offered the use of the store computer so I could check on what the salesman said, and see what others said about the product. Needless to say the staff was open and honest about the product and the manufacturer. Since this wound up being a 2 day transaction because I was not prepared to purchase from them initially; I also had a chance to see how they treated a variety of customers. To make it short let's just say that customer service is not just a phrase with NOVA. They are knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and engaging. They are not satisfied until you are. And here's the bonus, their prices are very competitive to anything I've seen elsewhere. In fact they beat or equaled prices at the Gun Show, which ran that same weekend. I'm not sure how I missed them at the Gun Show since typically I go all 3 days. The sure mark that they succeeded is: "I'll Be Back" as said the Terminator. Now, can't wait to get out and zero this bad boy. Gat6

I am going to have to stick with the trend and says that my experience was really good with them. I bought my first handgun there yesterday. Price was excellent, as was the service. Staff seemed very friendly and knowledgeable and they had a PMR-30 in stock...

I picked up an MP5 transfer from NOVA Armament the other day. I had a very pleasant experience -- it was quick and easy with a price that couldn't be beat! They gave me a "Frequent Transfer Card" that I will definitely be using again!

I purchased a handgun at NOVA Armament based on reviews I read on this forum and on Yelp!. I have to agree with everyone who says that they have good customer service. I had a pleasant experience with them and would recommend. However, they have recently raised their transfer fees and no longer give frequent transfer cards. Their prices are often the lowest around, but I have noticed that certain models can be found much cheaper elsewhere... not sure why that is.
Anyway, do shop around, but make sure to check out NOVA Armament.

thanks again for the good press, we are very thankfull to have the pleasure of serving such great customers....just a side note if folks haven't been in for a while, we recently had to do a slight increase to out transfer fee's $25 to now $30, this cost increase is due to a increase to our overhead. We thank you all for your understanding

Despite all the positive reviews, my exposure to Nova Herndon was very unpleasant. I was ready to buy a tactical rifle. When I entered the shop I was met with a clod feeding his face behind the counter. I waited a few minutes but this guy totally ignored me and kept eating. I got disgusted and walked out.
I doubt the onwer of NOVA appreciates his employees driving customers away with bad behaviour.
Needless to say NOVA is off my list for future sales.

Did you say anything to them, did they to you? Some one could have called in sick and he was the only guy manning the shop....

Definitely this. Don't write them off because of one bad experience. I'm sure this is not the norm.
No way! I have had nothing but positive dealings with Clarks and Blue ridge Arsenal I finally bough a Stag AR15 with interchangeable barrels for .556 and 22 LR It is a model 8 gas piston and I really love that gun. A colleague once told me that we meet assholes throughout life it is best to learn to work around them.

My wife recently purchased a Bodyguard .380 @ the shop. She had been looking for a while when we came in to the shop. SHE asked to see the compact .380s they had to offer. The associate that worked with her showed her all the .380s in the shop and walked her through EACH ONE. Not once did she get the "Oh, you're a woman an most women are only strong enough to carry a revolver" crap that we've heard over and over @ GreenTop, BassPro & Gander. We left the store without buying that first day.
A week later we came back. I had surveyed all the local haunts and found a slightly better price on a BG380 with a current series serial#. We spoke with Huy about the pricing and said we were agreeabl to something like an extra mag or a discount on ammo, holster if he could not match the price. Bottom line we wanted to buy from him and would work with him. Huy matched the price.
Further more every time I have gone in there, busy or not, these guys have taken the time to talk to me about the guns I was interested in REGARDLESS of it was in their store or not.
I'll definitely support this shop with gun purchases and transfers as my bank account allows.

I had done a private party out of state transfer at this place back in August. Good selection given it's small size. Typical handgun and tactical rifle/shotgun selection.Transfer went smooth. I will use them as a local transfer in the future. I got out of the tactical side of guns a while ago so if I ever get back into it, I'll be sure to put these guys on my short list of shops to visit.
