Hey there, we're looking forward to meeting the fine folks of the VGOF. It should be a good time. We're not planning any speeches or anything, we're going to offer some coffee and donuts, as well as some good deals.

Chris, according to a posting on Facebook they plan on opening at 10:00 on 1/30. I think some of us VGOF'ers are going to try and meet up around 11 followed by some local grub (assuming the snow god is a gun owner).

I added a calendar entry for this post. VGOF'ers plan to meet at 11am for some shopping and then some lunch.

I hope to be able to make it. If I'm there, I'll probably be wearing a black John Deere ballcap.

You could always print out a VGOF name badge using the PDF document at the following link and put your forum name and real first name on it so people will know how to address you.

Oh, that never turns out well... you will have to leave through a second story window due to the snow buildup around your front door, now...

I think this is a great idea and we should all do this.

The only reason that i even dared to say that is that I recently bought a larger snowblower so that almost guarantees that we won't have any significant snow through the rest of the year

Gotta love mother nature, sometimes the best laid plans...
Anyway, we look forward to seeing everyone.
FYI, I have also been told there's going to be an AR15.com Meet and Greet as well at the store.

There are tons of restaurants nearby, as for gun friendly, I couldn't tell you. Although I have Open Carried at the Greek Place (no one noticed), and the Indian Place (Aogi?) doesn't serve alcohol (their Goat Curry is fantastic) so OC is not needed there. Parking shouldn't be a problem, there's tons in the rear of the store, there's also on-street parking.

But things are looking up. Now the weather dudes are only calling for a dusting in our area. Most of the s*#% is supposed to stay well to the south of us. Being my snow blower decided to take a crap the last snow (carburetor problems) I am sure we will get 2 feet.

It started snowing about 10:00 out here in Leesburg. I actually got in the car and started to head towards Herndon but with the idiots driving at 35 mph on Rt 7 I decided to not risk some yeah-hoot hitting my wife's new car just to go to a gun shop. Trust me, I get things hard for new gun stuff but I would never hear the end of it if I were to wrinkle the wife's car. Have to catch you guys another time. Hope some folks were able to make it by.

I may try and get by there tomorrow since they have Sunday hours which, by the way, I think is FANTASTIC.

I just woke up. I must be coming down with something, cause I slept for 12 friggin hours! Sorry I'll miss the M&G, but I'll still try and come by sometime this weekend.

I swung in at 10ish. Good ammo stock (for my interests). Bought some Cowboy ammo. Can't wait to see the new firearms stock flow in. Really glad to have something in town. Good Luck guys!
