Figure I'd wait a while and see who else wants to show up, but don't see any more replies.
What happened to the OP?
Y'all mind if I bring one or two co-workers? We will all pay the fee, no problem. I was just hoping more people would show up, get some competition going...

Nuts. I am taking a Pat Goodale class in Schafferstown PA that weekend. I hope there are more NOVA meet ups in the near future.

I would like to shoot my rifles as well. Is there an out door range or does anybody own land to shoot on?

Outdoor ranges include Cresap Rifle club in Frederick , Maryland and Clarke Brothers in Warrenton, VA. Both have 100 yard targets. Cresap's has more booths and you only pay a "donation" for each target. Strict range rules and when you are done you better leave whent they tell you to. But you can shoot for hours! Well organized and friendly though. Just don't argue with them!

Clarke Bros is a little more laid back but still safe. Fewer booths to shoot from and last time I went I think they charged by the hour. And you have to use their ammo. But at least you can shoot anything you want from shotgun, not limited to slugs like other ranges.

Man, I'd be willing to drive a couple of hours to open land for some real target practice.

I'm interested but have to check with the spousal unit about a possible conflict that weekend. If I can clear the conflict, I'll be there.

Heck, I'll even pick you up (since I'm in Reston) if you need a ride. See, we already got a half-dozen folks saying they will try to make it there.

Thanks for the help NOVA, also thanks for the PM. Been really crazy lately and I haven't had, correction, MADE the time to get on here. Sorry about that.

I'd love to make that but I work every Saturday from 9-5. I'm a manager at a retail store. I'm still going to see about that breakfast though. That's not far from me so maybe I'll check that out Sunday.

I guess I was posting at the wrong time before. Or maybe it was just NOVA? Seems like people got pretty pumped up pretty quick after you posted ;).

I'll keep tabs on this thread and look for pics after the fun Saturday. :gunporn:

Sorry I can't make this one, and sorry it took so long for me to re-post. I'll try to keep a better watch from now on.
