Just a heads up I have been working on a few shooting games for everyone who goes to the range to take part in. If anyone is interested feel free to pm me so I know how much materials I need for everyone to have fun. I will post more details on what types of games will be played but if anyone has ever seen the show "Top Shot" you will already have a couple of ideas! Sorry I have been distant just in the process of moving (Hopefully) So I will be on soon. Hope all is well with everyone! :friends:
I invite everyone to come to the range with me. It's as simple as letting me know what day you want to meet up.

That sounds pretty great! I wonder if we could get RedStitch to bring a used dueling tree to play with.

RedStitch doesn't have any old targets lying around, but in exchange for some advertising here at VGOF, they are providing a 6-target dueling tree! Here's a link to it:

BBQ and Greet 8/11/2012, 3pm @ The Cove

Postby scrubber3 » Mon, 21 May 2012 21:38:22

Wow, five days before my birthday. If you guys are planning to drive to the range from the campsite, make sure it's not a car and preferably has 4x4. The trail there can be a difficult drive. I'm actually going this weekend so I can give y'all a heads up on the trail/range condition.
I had a SCAR 17 and 16. I also had a bunch of Glocks and a couple H&K pistols. Oh and a DDM4, but I sold everything when our government told me these dangerous tools can actually hurt someone. Apparently they grow legs and go on killing sprees.

I've been up there the last 3 weekends and a few weekdays. The road up to the shooting range cannot be navigated by a car period.

I would love to go to this, but it's doubtful I'll make it. :(

I have to apologize, as another date change is required due to another VGOF event that I'll be announcing soon that's set for the 11th in King George County. So, don;t clear your calendar for that day - leave it marked "VGOF" :)

The new date for The Cove BBQ and Greet will be 25 August. I'll try to get the pavilion rented sometime today.
